The world is a beautiful place - just not as known.
People and the stories and personalities they offer always amaze me, so this is a pretty damn good place to find just that. If I could, I'd love to meet every one of you, so let me start with the introductions first. I'm Gabs, that sixteen year old who takes too many photos. Nice to meet you.
All photos are taken by me unless stated otherwise. I also post thoughts on my mind. I don't find myself that interesting as a person, but I do like writing down random thoughts just to go look back and laugh at later.

It’s often said that every asshole with a camera thinks that he/she’s a photographer… and with so many people thinking slapping a filter on the mundane with “instagram” is “photography”, nothing is improving that stereotype. However, with so many fake photographers running around, there has been an even bigger boom in people who seem to think that they’re models. Narcissism has grown from a general illness to an outright epidemic.
It’s 2012, let’s make this the year the duck face dies.
Yes please. I agree with the duck face but only half agree with the fake photographers statement. It’s because I used to be like that too - had it not been for me stupidly believing I was good, I don’t think I would have stuck with photography and gotten better at all.
Of course I’m still not the best at it, but because photography was something I loved, I started from taking pictures that would make my eyes bleed if I ever saw them today to taking pictures that are now decent - some even I’m very happy to call my own. I’m improving everyday.
Anyway, back to the duckface thing. Yeah, that really needs to go.
